Dedication to Safety
Safety is our top priority at Shamrock Electric. We have always
tried to be industry leaders in our safety programs, and that
attitude starts at the top.
Rick
Jansen - Safety Director-- Rick has been
certified to teach the OSHA 10 hour class. In cooperation with
the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council, he has certified
almost all of our employees. We try to have 100% of our employees,
from the company President to our newest employee, OSHA 10-hour
certified. Our new apprentices being trained at the Joint Apprentice
Training Center for IBEW Local 134 are being OSHA 30 hour certified.
Rick has over ten years experience providing safety training in
the construction industry and is in charge of all aspects of accident
prevention for Shamrock Electric, Sedco Ltd., Shamrock Electric
Technologies and Shamrock GREEN Electric.
Frank
Amabile - President-- Frank fully backs all efforts by his
safety leaders to make our company the safest contractor in Illinois
and has never said “no” when it comes to spending
on safety.
Katie Miller – Safety Director– Katie started with Shamrock Electric in 2000 and was named Safety Director in 2005. She is certified to teach the OSHA 10 hour course as well as the OSHA 30 hour course. She has taken multiple courses in safety and first aid, and is certified in using the external automatic defibrillation machines we keep on job sites. In addition, she keeps our safety program and MSD Sheets current and in compliance.
